United World College Summer Short Course
AUGUST 3-15 2014 in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina
PARTICIPANT APPLICATION
Participants must be born between August 1995 and August 1999 and have sufficient English skills.
We are looking for participants who are engaged in global and local issues, show interest in the goals we are looking to achieve and who have the willingness to cooperate in a group situation. We want participants who are ready to give and receive in order to become catalysts for change.
In total we will have 20 participants.
The application form includes several questions which will help us get to know you, please answer them with honesty; we want to have an authentic image of our applicants, so we can make a fair selection.
*Priority will be given to participants not affiliated with UWC, as we are trying to give people, who have not had the chance to have a UWC experience, the opportunity to have something similar to it.

FACILITATOR APPLICATION
Facillitators: must be born between August 1992 and August 1996 and have good English skills.
We are looking for facilitators with previous experience, who have the skills and knowledge that prepares them for this role. We are offering two positions for facilitators at our short course. Our external facilitators are an important part of our course and will be helping achieve our aims, by guiding participants through our activities and discussion and being there to assist them when needed.
We would like facilitators that are UWC Alumni or current students, but this is not a requirement. Facilitators should have the necessary physical and emotional stamina, problem solving skills and ability to deal with struggles that participants might face individually and within the group. Facilitators must be integral and impartial.
*Please note that if you are chosen among the top candidates for this position, we will ask for a Skype interview to be able to make our final decision.
